English Proficiency Enhancement Program for Physics Undergraduate Students and Institutional TOEFL Test

In an effort to equip students with global skills and enhance their international competitiveness, the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), successfully organized a program titled "English Proficiency Enhancement and Institutional TOEFL Test" for undergraduate Physics students.
This program was specifically designed to bridge the academic and professional needs of students, considering that the majority of scientific literature, cutting-edge research, and global collaborations in the field of physics are conducted in English.
Program Highlights
The initiative was divided into two main phases:
Intensive Training Workshop: Students received rigorous preparation covering effective TOEFL strategies, focusing on Listening, Structure & Written Expression, and Reading Comprehension.
Institutional TOEFL Test: As a benchmark of success, students participated in an official Institutional TOEFL test to obtain a score certification, which can be utilized for graduation requirements or future scholarship/career applications.
Student Notice: Test results and Institutional TOEFL certificates will be available for pickup at the Physics Department administration office once the official scores are released by the testing agency.
Through this program, the Department of Physics FMIPA reaffirms its commitment to producing graduates who are not only scientifically excellent but also highly adaptive and ready to compete on the global stage.
