Committed to Maintaining Educational Quality, Department of Chemistry FMIPA Unhas Holds Monthly Regular Meeting and Gathering
In a continuous effort to enhance academic excellence, teaching effectiveness, and the quality of academic services, the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Hasanuddin University, routinely holds monthly coordination meetings. This activity was held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the Chemistry Department Meeting Room, FMIPA Unhas.
Led by the Head of the Department of Chemistry, Dr. Ajuk Sapar, S.Si., M.Si., the meeting was attended by faculty members (lecturers) and educational staff within the Department of Chemistry.
The main agendas discussed included:
Lecture Evaluation and Monitoring: Reviewing the implementation of teaching and learning activities across Undergraduate (S1), Master's (S2), and Doctoral (S3) Chemistry Programs to ensure curriculum standards are optimally met.
Updating Semester Learning Plans (RPS): Aligning course materials and learning methods across each laboratory/field of study to remain relevant with scientific developments and industry needs.
Study Program Quality Development: Strategic discussions on innovative measures to foster quality assurance, improve learning outcomes, and advance program development in the future.
Beyond serving as a professional and academic discussion forum, this gathering was also utilized to strengthen ties and foster camaraderie among the academic community of the Department of Chemistry. The regular meeting concluded with a networking session and lunch together among lecturers and staff in a warm, collegial atmosphere.
Through the consistency of these activities, the Department of Chemistry FMIPA Unhas remains committed to delivering the best educational services, producing outstanding graduates, and maintaining a harmonious working environment.
