Goals

  1. To produce graduates who excel in the education and study of the Indonesian language and its dialects.

  2. To produce experts in theoretical and applied linguistics, literature, education, and teaching focusing on the Indonesian language.

  3. To produce professionals capable of conducting research in theoretical and applied linguistics, literature, education, and teaching focusing on the Indonesian language, with a high commitment to ethics, responsibility, and professionalism, and who are responsive to national and international changes and developments.

  4. To produce professionals capable of applying their expertise in the Indonesian language for the benefit of the community.

  5. To establish various forms of cooperation in the development of Indonesian language education and research with other institutions, both domestically and internationally.

Objectives

  1. Availability of the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI) Curriculum document ratified in 2017.
  2. Availability of Semester Learning Plan (RPS) documents used since 2017.
  3. Involving students in scientific article writing guidance, TOEFL preparation guidance, and other activities.
  4. Availability of online services at the faculty and university libraries.
  5. Control is conducted both online and manually.
  6. Implementation of guest lectures every semester featuring keynote speakers from various backgrounds, namely academics, practitioners, and government officials.
  7. Implementation of annual seminars, both international-scale such as Selogika and national-scale such as the Language Month Seminar (Seminar Bulan Bahasa).
  8. The presence of lecturers and students from South Korea, the People's Republic of China, and Malaysia participating in various academic activities such as seminars, guest lectures, and others.
  9. Publication of research results in various journals, proceedings, and other print media, such as the international journal JESOC (Journal of Education, Social Sciences, and Culture), ATMA proceedings (Arkeologi dan Tamaddum di Alam Melayu), and Hajar Daily Newspaper (Koran Harian Fajar).
  10. Lecturers produce independent research every semester to fulfill the Lecturer Workload (BKD) requirements.
  11. Lecturers conduct community service activities every semester involving students, covering both funded competitive grant schemes and independent initiatives.
  12. Implementation of several Tri Dharma Higher Education activities as the implementation of signed MoUs.
  13. Realization of cooperation in teaching, research, and community service with various domestic and international institutions.
