The Master's Program in Naval Architecture was officially established on April 12, 2004, under Ministerial Decree No. 1341/D/T/2004. The program commenced its academic operations on April 27, 2004, based on Operational Permit No. 1821/J04.1/PP.37/2004.
The program received its first national accreditation from BAN-PT in 2012 with a rating of B, and successfully maintained this rating during the reaccreditation process in 2018. Demonstrating its commitment to continuous quality improvement, the program was awarded the Excellent (Unggul) accreditation by the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (LAM Teknik/LAMTEK) through Decree No. 0096/SK/LAM Teknik/AM/IV/2023, valid until April 20, 2028.
Supported by highly qualified academic staff, an industry-oriented curriculum, and a strong commitment to education, research, innovation, and community service, the Master's Program in Naval Architecture continues to produce graduates with advanced competencies, leadership, and global competitiveness, contributing to the sustainable development of the maritime and shipbuilding industries at both the national and international levels.
