The educational process is implemented, among other things, through curriculum innovation and development involving all stakeholders. The decision to implement a student-centered learning (SCL) system through a problem-based learning (PBL) approach was made in 2008 and has undergone several evaluation stages. The implementation of active learning methods in PBL has had a positive impact on student engagement in the learning process. In this method, students actively seek, explore, and develop information they desire, learn, understand, and analyze it both through group work and independently, utilizing all available learning resources, facilities, and infrastructure. Students have sufficient opportunity and time to develop their knowledge and technology, general skills, and knowledge and understanding of material relevant to the field of Dentistry.
