As part of its commitment to nurturing globally competent leaders in governance, innovation, and sustainable development, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas), proudly offers international collaborative master’s programs with world-leading universities in Japan and New Zealand.

1.⁠ ⁠Double and Single Degree Program with Rikkyo University, Japan

Master of Public Administration (Universitas Hasanuddin) & Master of Social Development and Administration (Rikkyo University, Tokyo)

In partnership with the Graduate School of Social Design Studies, Rikkyo University,  this program offers a unique opportunity to experience an integrated learning journey between Indonesia and Japan.

Program Options:

1. 1. Double Degree (2 years): One year at Unhas and one year at Rikkyo University. Graduates earn a Master of Science in Public Administration (MAP) from Universitas Hasanuddin and Master of Social Development and Administration (MSDA) from Rikkyo University.
   2. Single Degree (Semester-only / Sandwich Program): One or two semesters at Rikkyo University with credits transferred to Unhas.

Entry Requirements:

• • ⁠Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (minimum GPA 3.00/4.00)
  • ⁠English proficiency (minimum TOEFL iBT 80 / IELTS 6.0)

⁠Strong motivation in governance, policy, or development fields

• • ⁠Open to civil servants, professionals, and fresh graduates

2. Double Degree Program with Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand

Master of Public Administration (Universitas Hasanuddin) & Master of Public Management (Victoria University of Wellington), Specialization: E-Government

This prestigious collaboration with the Wellington School of Business and Government, Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), provides advanced knowledge and practical skills in public management and digital governance.

Program Structure:

• • Duration: 2 years (1 year at Unhas + 1 year at VUW)
  • ⁠Degrees Awarded: Magister Administrasi Publik (MAP) from Universitas Hasanuddin and Master of Public Management (MPM) from Victoria University of Wellington (with specialization in E-Government)

Entry Requirements:

• • Bachelor’s degree in any field (minimum GPA 3.00/4.00)
  • ⁠English proficiency: IELTS ≥ 6.5 (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT ≥ 90 (writing ≥ 24)
  • Preferably 2 years of professional or public sector experience
  • ⁠⁠⁠Open to civil servants, professionals, and fresh graduates from any study background
