Hasanuddin University Confers Degrees to 2,641 Graduates, Master's in Governmental Studies Alumna Named Best Graduate of All Master's Programs at Unhas
Makassar, July 15, 2025 — Hasanuddin University once again held its graduation ceremony for the July 2024/2025 Academic Year period. The event took place over two days, Monday and Tuesday, July 14–15, 2025, at Baruga A.P. Pettarani, Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar.
A total of 2,641 students from various academic levels were officially conferred their degrees. The solemn ceremony was attended by university and faculty leaders, as well as the families and relatives of the graduates.
Among the thousands of graduates, several names stood out as top achievers, representing outstanding academic performance and exceptional dedication throughout their studies at Hasanuddin University. One of the most distinguished was Eunike Karin Ningrum, a graduate of the Master’s Program in Governmental Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.
Eunike achieved a perfect Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.00, completed her studies in just 1 year and 4 months, and graduated with Cum Laude honors. For this outstanding achievement, she was named the Best Graduate of the Master’s Program at Hasanuddin University for this period.
Prof. Dr. A.M. Rusli, M.Si, Head of the Master’s Program in Governmental Studies, expressed his appreciation for the accomplishment, describing it as a historic milestone for the program.
“This is an extraordinary achievement. For the first time, a graduate from the Master’s Program in Governmental Studies has been recognized as the top graduate of Hasanuddin University. This accomplishment is not only a personal triumph, but also a clear indication that the field of Governmental Studies is advancing, evolving, and becoming increasingly competitive within the academic environment of Unhas. We hope this marks the beginning of many more great accomplishments in the future,” stated Prof. Rusli.
Eunike’s success symbolizes the academic excellence fostered by the Governmental Studies Program, as well as the spirit of distinction cultivated by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. This achievement further affirms Hasanuddin University’s commitment to producing graduates who are not only academically outstanding but also competitive on both national and global stages.
