Vision and Mission

Vision

To become a reliable study program in the development of innovative Data Science based on the Indonesian Maritime Continent (BMI) that is recognized at the international level by 2035.

Mission
To fulfill its vision, the Mission of the Master's Program in Data Science is:

  1. Education: To organize innovative, collaborative, and research-based Master's education in the field of Data Science, by integrating local excellence and global needs.

  2. Research: To produce excellent research in the field of Data Science that supports the management of natural resources, environment, economy, and society in the Indonesian Maritime Continent (BMI).

  3. Community Service: To provide real contributions to community development through the application of Data Science for solving problems at the local, national, and international levels.

  4. Collaboration: To build strategic cooperation with academic institutions, government, and industry in the development and application of Data Science.

  5. Sustainability: To develop graduates who have character, are professional, and have global competitiveness to support sustainable development in accordance with the SDGs.
