The Department of History, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University, held an internal meeting on March 10, 2026, attended by all lecturers to discuss several important agenda items related to academic process management. This meeting served as a forum for joint coordination to ensure optimal academic activities and adherence to university-established standards.
The first item discussed was the progress of updating the Semester Learning Plan (RPS). The discussion revealed that several RPSs had not yet been updated to reflect curriculum developments and learning needs. Therefore, it was agreed that all lecturers who had not yet updated their RPSs should immediately complete them, particularly for courses in the current semester. All updated RPS documents will be uploaded and updated through the SIPAKAMASE application as part of the integrated academic administration system.
The second item on the agenda concerned the progress of student mentoring for the 2019 to 2022 intakes. The meeting emphasized the importance of maximizing the academic mentoring process, particularly in the supervision of final assignments for students currently completing their studies. To increase monitoring effectiveness, the mentoring process will be optimized through the use of the SIPANTAU application, allowing for more systematic and measurable monitoring of student progress.
Furthermore, during the session on other matters deemed necessary, the lecturers also emphasized the importance of increased attention to students' overall academic development. This more intensive approach is expected to assist students in overcoming various academic obstacles and expedite the completion of their studies. The meeting, held on March 10, 2026, is expected to strengthen coordination between lecturers, thereby continuously improving the quality of academic services in the Department of History, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University.
