Unhas Vocational Faculty Hosts Webinar on Career Prospects in Digital Communication

Makassar - The Digital Communication Study Program, Vocational Faculty, Universitas Hasanuddin held an online webinar titled "Kuliah Komunikasi Digital: Bisa Jadi Apa Saja?" (Studying Digital Communication: What Can You Become?) via Zoom Meeting on Saturday, December 6, 2025, starting at 10.00 WITA.

The webinar aimed to answer common questions among prospective students about what Digital Communication studies entail and what career opportunities are available upon graduation. The event featured an accomplished young speaker, Diah Pitaloka Margareta, S.I.Kom., M.A., a lecturer in Communication Studies at Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) who is currently pursuing her PhD at the National Research Tomsk State University, Russia. The webinar was also supported by Prof. Dr. Ir. Muh. Restu, MP, Dean of the Vocational Faculty, Universitas Hasanuddin.

Participants were guided through an in-depth exploration of the Digital Communication curriculum, learning processes, and the wide range of career paths available — spanning the creative industry, digital media, startups, and government institutions.

The event reflects the program's commitment to building public awareness and enthusiasm for digital communication education in the era of an increasingly connected and technology-driven world.
