Unhas and ITB Sign Academic Collaboration Agreement
Signing of the Cooperation Agreement between the Vocational Faculty of Universitas Hasanuddin and the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology, ITB
The Vocational Faculty of Universitas Hasanuddin has officially established a strategic partnership with the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology at Institut Teknologi Bandung. The collaboration was marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
This signing represents a concrete step to strengthen synergy between higher education institutions. Both parties agreed to promote collaboration in education, research, and community service. The partnership focuses on developing vocational student competencies that align with industry needs and advancements in earth sciences.
Through this collaboration, the Vocational Faculty of Universitas Hasanuddin aims to enhance the quality of graduates who are adaptive and job-ready. Meanwhile, the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology at ITB seeks to expand its academic network and strengthen the practical implementation of its scientific expertise.
The scope of the collaboration includes knowledge exchange, industry-based curriculum development, joint research activities, as well as the implementation of internship programs and technical training. This partnership is expected to generate innovations that deliver direct impact to both society and industry.
