Monday, July 14, 2026, the Hasanuddin University Vocational Faculty Campus in Sidenreng Rappang Regency (Sidrap) received a visit from five members of the Board of Trustees (Majelis Wali Amanat/MWA) of Unhas. The visit was welcomed directly by the Head of the Food Crop Production Technology Study Program, Eka Setiawan, S.Si., M.Si., the Head of the Livestock Production Technology Study Program, Syamsuddin, S.Pt., M.Si., along with lecturers and campus education staff who were present. The visit took place from 1:00 PM (WITA) onward, beginning with a joint lunch between the MWA delegation and campus representatives.

The MWA delegation present at this visit consisted of Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, M.A., Prof. Dr. Ir. Andi Niartiningsih, M.P., Prof. Dr. drg. Andi Zulkifli, M.Kes., Prof. Dr. Ir. Asmuddin Natsir, M.Sc., and Prof. Dr. drg. Hasanuddin Thahir, M.S., Sp.Perio (K).

Following the lunch, the agenda continued with a discussion on the overall development of the Unhas Sidrap Campus. During this meeting, the latest updates on students from the Vocational Faculty were also presented, particularly from the Food Crop Production Technology Study Program and the Livestock Production Study Program, as part of the academic progress report for the campus.

The visit continued with a direct inspection of the facilities and infrastructure within the campus environment, including the dormitory (mess) used as student housing during their studies in Sidrap. This inspection was part of the MWA's effort to directly observe the condition of the supporting facilities available to students. This visit represents one form of attention given by the Unhas Board of Trustees toward the development of the Unhas Sidrap Campus, while also providing an opportunity for campus representatives to report on the current state of academics, student affairs, and facilities to the university's leadership.
