The Livestock Production Technology Study Program was established in 2020 to meet the need for skilled personnel in the livestock sector and to keep abreast of technological developments in the applied livestock sector.
The opening of the Livestock Production Technology Study Program was marked by an operating permit based on Hasanuddin University Rector's Decree No. 3747/UN4.1/KEP/2020 dated July 27, 2020. The Livestock Production Technology Study Program is located in Sidenreng Rappang Regency as a collaboration with the Sidenreng Rappang Regional Government. The agreement was signed by Unhas Rector Prof. Dr. Dwia Ariestina Pulubuhu, MA, and Sidrap Regency Regent Ir. H. Dollah Mando on February 8, 2020, coinciding with the 676th anniversary of Sidrap Regency.
