Hasanuddin University Biology Students Win Second Place in the Scientific Essay Competition at the 2025 Alauddin Nursing Competition

Hasanuddin University students have once again achieved a proud achievement. Ninih Mutmainnah, a Biology student, won second place in the Scientific Essay category at the 2025 Alauddin Nursing Competition , a prestigious national event organized by the Nursing Student Association of the State Islamic University (UIN) Alauddin Makassar.

With the theme "Zero Infection: Towards a Generation Without HIV/AIDS ," the competition ran for three days, from June 20 to 22, 2025, at the Khas Makassar Hotel. Participants from various leading universities in Indonesia, including Hasanuddin University, also sent their best representatives.

The 2025 Alauddin Nursing Competition includes three competition categories, namely Scientific Essay , Public Poster , and Educational Video , all of which aim to increase awareness and the role of the younger generation in preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS in Indonesia.

Ninih Mutmainnah's achievements are not only a source of pride for the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and the Department of Biology, but also an inspiration for other students to continue to actively achieve and contribute to national health issues.
