VISION AND MISSION OF THE GEOPHYSICS MASTER'S STUDY PROGRAM

To become a leading and reliable higher education institution in the development of science, technology, arts, and culture (IPTEKSBUD) of Geophysics for exploration, natural resource management, and disaster risk mitigation based on the Indonesian Maritime Continent (BMI).

1. To produce graduates who are able to work independently and collaboratively in applying, developing, and creating, as well as being anticipative of the advancement of IPTEKSBUD.

2. To conduct research and produce reputable scientific works oriented toward the development of geophysical sciences.

3. To develop the application of geophysics to support regional development, regional planning, and disaster risk mitigation.

4. To coordinate and expand expertise networks in the field of geophysics in a synergistic and accelerative manner.

5. To disseminate the results of applied research, policy studies, and appropriate technology packages for productive activities and improving the quality of life of society.

6. To develop the application of physics to support material development.
