RESEARCH LABORATORY
This laboratory supports educational and research activities focused on the study of subsurface structures and physical properties of the Earth through the application of various geophysical methods for resource exploration, geological disaster mitigation, and advanced Earth science studies.
The Hydrometeorology Laboratory facilitates learning and research related to atmosphere–hydrology interactions, particularly in the analysis of rainfall, floods, droughts, and climate variability to support hydrometeorological disaster risk reduction.
The Geoinformatics Laboratory supports education and research in spatial data analysis, geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, and geospatial modeling to support Earth science studies, environmental monitoring, and disaster management.
The Coastal and Ocean Dynamics Laboratory focuses on the study of coastal and marine physical processes, including waves, currents, tides, and their interactions with coastal environments, to support coastal hazard research and sustainable marine resource management.
