Smart Research & Successful Publication Training: Best Practices for Mathematics Students

The Master’s Program in Mathematics at Hasanuddin University organized the training program entitled “Smart Research & Successful Publication Training: Best Practices for Mathematics Students” as part of its commitment to strengthening students’ academic capacity in research development and scientific publication.

The program was held on Monday, December 8, 2025, featuring two distinguished researchers and academics: Dr. Dipo Aldila, S.Si., M.Si., a researcher from the University of Indonesia, and Prof. Dr. Dahlang Tahir, M.Si., a researcher from Hasanuddin University.

This training was designed to provide Master’s Mathematics students with strategic insights into developing high-quality research, generating innovative ideas, and transforming research outcomes into scientific publications in reputable journals.

The first session, conducted from 10:00–11:30 WITA, was delivered by Dr. Dipo Aldila, S.Si., M.Si., who shared valuable insights on effective research strategies, including problem formulation, methodological development, and practical experiences in producing scientific publications.

The second session, held from 13:30–15:00 WITA, featured Prof. Dr. Dahlang Tahir, M.Si., who discussed scientific publication strategies, manuscript quality improvement, and approaches to achieving publications in reputable national and international journals.

Through this activity, the Master’s Program in Mathematics at Hasanuddin University aims to enhance students’ research competencies, strengthen academic skills, and encourage the production of impactful scientific works that contribute to the advancement of mathematics and related fields.

This training also reflects the commitment of the Master’s Program in Mathematics at Hasanuddin University to fostering a productive, innovative, and research-oriented academic environment that supports excellence in scientific research and publication.
