Strengthening Learning Quality, Master’s Program in Mathematics Unhas Participates in CPMK Measurement Workshop
MAKASSAR — The Master’s Program in Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Hasanuddin University (Unhas) reaffirmed its commitment to improving learning quality by participating in the Course Learning Outcome (CPMK) Measurement Workshop organized by Hasanuddin University.
The workshop is part of Unhas’ ongoing efforts to strengthen the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE), particularly in ensuring that students’ competencies are achieved through a measurable, systematic, and data-driven learning process.
The Master’s Program in Mathematics actively participated in the workshop, represented by the Head of the Master’s Program in Mathematics, Prof. Nurdin, S.Si., M.Si. His participation reflects the program’s commitment to ensuring that the measurement of learning outcomes is effectively implemented and integrated into the academic processes of the study program.
Through the workshop, participants gained insights and technical guidance on CPMK measurement mechanisms, learning outcome data analysis, and the utilization of measurement results as an important component of continuous learning evaluation and quality improvement.
CPMK measurement plays an important role in the university’s quality assurance system, as it provides an objective overview of the extent to which the competencies targeted in each course have been achieved. The results can subsequently serve as a basis for study programs to evaluate their learning processes and develop continuous improvement strategies.
The participation of the Master’s Program in Mathematics, FMIPA Unhas, in this activity is expected to further strengthen the implementation of an outcome-based curriculum and support the development of a learning environment that is transparent, measurable, and oriented toward improving graduate competencies.
Through this commitment, the Master’s Program in Mathematics, FMIPA Unhas, continues to strive for excellence in educational quality and to ensure that its learning processes remain aligned with developments in mathematical sciences as well as evolving academic and professional needs.
