Research Mentoring for Affirmative Class Students of the Master's Program in Mining Engineering at PT Vale Indonesia Tbk

The Master's Program in Mining Engineering, Hasanuddin University, conducted a Research Mentoring Activity for Affirmative Class Students at PT Vale Indonesia Tbk on November 22, 2025. The activity aimed to ensure the smooth progress of students' research, with students in the Affirmative Class receiving direct guidance from their respective academic supervisors. The mentoring sessions focused on reviewing research progress and assessing the feasibility of publishing the research findings. Through direct interaction between students and their supervisors, the activity was expected to improve the quality of research outputs while accelerating students' academic progress.

In addition to the research mentoring sessions, the delegation also conducted a site visit to research locations within PT Vale's operational area. The field visit included an inspection of facilities relevant to the students' research topics, including production areas, sampling locations, and several supporting operational sites. The mentoring and site visits are expected to continue as part of the Master's Program in Mining Engineering's commitment to improving the quality of student research and expanding collaborative networks with industry partners.
