The visit of Prof. Dr. Liliek Susilowati from Universitas Airlangga to the Department of Mathematics Unhas: Strengthening Collaboration in Combinatorics Research
Makassar, July 23, 2025 – Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas), received a scientific visit from Prof. Dr. Liliek Susilowati, S.Si., M.Si., lecturer and researcher from Department of Mathematics Universitas Airlangga (Unair), Surabaya. The visit took place on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, focusing on research discussions with the Combinatorics Research Group.
The visit was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Hasmawati, a professor of combinatorics at the Department of Mathematics, Unhas. In her speech, Prof. Hasmawati expressed her appreciation for Prof. Liliek’s presence and emphasized the importance of synergy between researchers in developing the field of combinatorics which currently has wider applications.
The meeting was filled with scientific discussions on various current research topics in combinatorics and opportunities for cross-institutional research collaboration. The discussion took place in a warm and productive atmosphere, closed with a question and answer session and the formulation of concrete follow-up steps in order to strengthen academic collaboration between the two institutions.
