Expected Learning Outcome
Expected Learning Outcomes ( ELOs ) of the Arabic Study Program have been clearly formulated and designed based on the input of stakeholders (users, alumni, professional associations, faculty members) and align with the vision of the Arabic Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, and Hasanuddin University (UNHAS). In preparing these ELOs, the Arabic Study Program also refers to the Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF) or Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI) for higher education as legalized in Presidential Decree no 8/2012. Moreover, the Arabic Study Program implemented tracer study to obtain aspirations from stakeholders and alumni. This was done to ensure the study program competencies including attitudes, knowledge, and skills. In deciding the uniqueness of the study program, the Arabic Study Program went through benchmarking with equivalent study programs (ie: Teaching Arabic to non-Native Speakers in the King Saud University Riyadh, Umm al-Qura University in Mecca, Arabic Programs Australian National University and Department of Near Eastern Studies in the University of Michigan USA) in preparing and developing these ELOs. More importantly, the role of the Institute of Quality Assurance and Education Development (LPMPP) is noted in guarding these ELOs so that they remain in line with the visions of the Arabic Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences and UNHAS.
