Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) Unhas Holds Socialization of SIPANTAU Application Implementation to Accelerate Academic Services

The Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University, held an Implementation activity for the SIPANTAU Application , a digital system designed to accelerate and streamline the process of monitoring students' final assignments. This activity took place on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 08.30 WITA in the Senate Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, FIB Unhas . This activity was attended by the Heads of Departments/Study Programs for Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral degrees, the Head of the Department/Study Program Secretariat, and one accompanying lecturer from each study program. The presence of these academic leaders demonstrated full support for the digital transformation being pursued by the faculty.

The event was opened by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Ilham, SS, M.Hum. , who emphasized that SIPANTAU is a crucial innovation in improving academic governance within the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. He emphasized that digitizing the final project process is a strategic step in ensuring faster, more effective, and more accountable academic services.

This activity presented the main speaker, Dr. Hendra, S.Si., M.Kom. , from the Educational Transformation and Learning Innovation Department of Hasanuddin University , who provided technical explanations and guidance regarding the use of the SIPANTAU application. In his presentation, Dr. Hendra emphasized the importance of technology integration to simplify the administrative process and ensure that each stage of the final assignment can be monitored in real-time.

He also explained SIPANTAU's key features, such as thesis title submission, verification, supervisor appointment, guidance monitoring, and final exam preparation. Participants were given the opportunity to experience the application's user interface firsthand, ensuring optimal implementation at the study program level.

With the successful implementation of this activity, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University, reaffirms its commitment to continuously encourage the modernization of academic services and support the acceleration of students' final assignment completion through an integrated and transparent digital system.
