French Literature Study Program Receives Reaccreditation Assessment Visit
Makassar 11/05/2026 — The French Literature Study Program at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Hasanuddin University (Unhas), received a visit from a panel of accreditation assessors conducting a field assessment for the program's reaccreditation. The activity is part of a periodic quality assurance process mandated by national higher education standards.
The field assessment covered a series of key stages, including interviews with faculty and program leadership, discussion sessions with academic staff, as well as meetings with current students and alumni. The assessors also reviewed accreditation documentation, teaching and learning facilities, and the program's curriculum, which has been developed in alignment with the National Higher Education Qualification Framework.
The entire academic community of the French Literature Study Program had made comprehensive preparations ahead of the visit. These included updating the Self-Evaluation Report (LED — Laporan Evaluasi Diri), compiling faculty performance reports, and realigning the curriculum to national qualification standards. The program's commitment to academic quality is reflected in the achievements it has garnered in recent years.
The Head of the Study Program expressed confidence in the preparations made. "This reaccreditation visit is an important milestone for the program to continuously improve the quality of education and academic services for our students," he stated.
The French Literature Study Program remains committed to maintaining and advancing its academic standards with the goal of producing graduates who are competent in the fields of French language, literature, and culture. The reaccreditation process is expected to reinforce the program's standing as one of the leading foreign language programs in Eastern Indonesia.
