Educational Objectives of the Bachelor of Architecture Study Program, Faculty of Engineering - Hasanuddin University (FT-UH)
To prepare students to become graduates with academic and/or professional capabilities who master the fundamentals of science and practice in the field of architecture.
To prepare graduates capable of creating the "Nuance of the Tropical Archipelago of Nusantara" in the development and implementation of the Architecture discipline.
To prepare academic staff (lecturers/researchers) in the field of Architecture who are capable and possess Master's (S2) and Doctoral (S3) qualifications.
To prepare, implement, and disseminate research results into scientific publications in the form of reference books (textbooks) and/or articles at local, national, and international levels within the field of architecture.
To create, apply, and develop innovations in science, technology, art, and culture (IPTEKS).
To foster, develop, and continuously evaluate the Curriculum.
To foster, develop, and evaluate the monitoring and evaluation system for teaching and learning process (PBM) activities.
To compile a database and academic information system.
To prepare research laboratory facilities, drawing studios, and modeling workshops along with reliable, ready-to-use equipment.
To produce architecture graduates who are:
Capable of practicing in the field of architecture within both local and global contexts.
Capable of working by applying scientific and technological principles with environmental insight and the national culture of Nusantara.
Capable of reasoning (analyzing and synthesizing) and formulating problem-solving strategies in the form of concepts that can be further developed in architectural design and construction implementation.
Capable of working both independently and in groups.
