Students of the 2022 Unhas BDLP Program Take the Milkfish Breeding Scheme Competency Exam

Makassar, December 3, 2025 — The Marine and Coastal Aquaculture Study Program (BDLP), Faculty of Vocational Studies, Hasanuddin University, once again achieved success through the Milkfish Hatchery Implementation Scheme Competency Test, which was attended by BDLP students from the class of 2022. All participants were declared competent, marking their success in meeting professional standards in the field of milkfish hatchery.

The competency test, held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, aimed to measure students' technical abilities in professionally implementing the milkfish hatchery process, from container preparation and broodstock management, spawning, egg hatching, to larval rearing and early nursery.

The competency test was conducted by certified assessors who assessed participants based on their knowledge, skills, and work attitudes in accordance with industry standards. Students demonstrated a strong understanding and applied skills derived from the theoretical learning and intensive practice they underwent during their studies at BDLP.

The BDLP Study Program expressed its appreciation for the students' hard work and the support of the lecturers and instructors who have guided them throughout the learning process. The success of all students in obtaining competency recommendations demonstrates that the implemented vocational curriculum has successfully prepared graduates who are ready to enter the workforce, particularly in the milkfish hatchery sector, a leading national commodity.
