Unhas Vocational Faculty holds vocational internship send-off and launches SIGMAVO.

The event was attended by 7th-semester students from the Vocational Faculty of Hasanuddin University who are set to undertake internships as part of their experiential learning in the professional world. Through these internships, students are expected to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their studies while enhancing their readiness for the professional landscape. 

The event was attended by the Dean of the Vocational Faculty, Irfan Sugianto, drg., M. Med. Ed., Ph. D., Sp. RKG; the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Ir. Agustina Abdullah, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM., ASEAN Eng.; and the Vice Dean for Partnerships, Research, Innovation, and Alumni Affairs, Dr. Eng. Ir. Ilham Bakri, ST., M.Sc. Also present were the Head of the Quality Assurance Group (GPM), Prof. Dr. Andi Nur Faidah Rahman, STP., M.Si., and the Head of the Marine and Coastal Aquaculture Study Program, Dr. Dian Novita Sari, A.Md., S.Pi., M.Si. 

A key agenda item was the launch of SIMAGVO (Vocational Internship Monitoring System). The introduction of SIMAGVO is part of the Vocational Faculty's efforts to improve the management and monitoring of student internships in a more systematic manner. 

Through this system, the internship process can be monitored and managed more effectively, ensuring that student activities at internship sites are well-directed and aligned with learning objectives. 

This send-off ceremony marks a significant moment for 7th-semester students to prepare for direct engagement with the work environment. Students are expected to carry out their internships responsibly, uphold professional ethics, and represent the Vocational Faculty and Hasanuddin University with distinction.
