The Extension of the Registration Period for the Selayar Local Government Partnership Program Is Officially Open Until June 2026

Good news for the brightest students of Selayar Islands Regency. Hasanuddin University, through its Vocational Faculty, has officially extended the registration period for the New Student Admission (PMB) program under the Selayar Islands Regency Local Government Partnership until June 2026. This extension is intended to provide broader opportunities for prospective students who wish to pursue vocational higher education with scholarship support and educational subsidies from the Selayar Local Government.

This program is a collaboration between the Selayar Islands Regency Government and Hasanuddin University to improve the quality of local human resources through applied education relevant to the potential of the archipelago and the region’s key sectors. Under this partnership track, students can choose flagship study programs from the Vocational Faculty, namely the Tourism Destination Program and the Marine and Coastal Cultivation Program.

Through the established funding scheme, participants from deciles 1–4 will receive full scholarships, while those in decile 5 and above will receive educational subsidies from the Selayar Islands Regency Government. This program is expected to provide more equitable access to education while fostering a new generation of Selayar youth who are competent, professional, and ready to contribute to regional development.
