Orientation Program for New Students (PKKMB) and Unhas Day 2026
Makassar – The Digital Communication Study Program at the Vocational Faculty of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) warmly welcomes its new students for the 2026/2027 Academic Year as they begin their academic journey through the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) and Unhas Day 2026.
The series of activities will begin with the University-Level PKKMB on Tuesday, 11 August 2026, at the JK Arenatorium, Unhas Sports Arena (GOR Unhas). This will be followed by the Faculty, Study Program, and Department PKKMB on Wednesday–Thursday, 12–13 August 2026, with detailed schedules and venues to be announced by each respective unit. Unhas Day 2026 will then take place on Saturday, 15 August 2026, serving as a welcoming event for new students while introducing them to student organizations, student activity units, and campus life at Hasanuddin University.
Throughout these activities, new students of the Digital Communication Study Program will be introduced to the university's academic culture, vocational learning system, educational facilities, and various student organizations and communities that provide opportunities for both academic and personal development.
PKKMB marks the first step in helping students adapt to campus life, build new connections, and become familiar with the values upheld by Hasanuddin University. The program is designed to prepare students for their academic journey while encouraging them to develop their potential throughout their studies at the Vocational Faculty.
The Digital Communication Study Program encourages all new students to take note of the schedule, actively participate in every PKKMB and Unhas Day activity, and rely only on official communication channels of Hasanuddin University and the Vocational Faculty for accurate and up-to-date information.
PKKMB and Unhas Day 2026 Schedule
- Tuesday, 11 August 2026 – University-Level PKKMB (JK Arenatorium, Unhas Sports Arena)
- Wednesday–Thursday, 12–13 August 2026 – Faculty, Study Program, and Department PKKMB
- Saturday, 15 August 2026 – Unhas Day 2026
