Students of the Faculty of Vocational Studies, Hasanuddin University, Undertake Field Practice at PT Inti Tani Satwa

Maros – Students of the Animal Production Technology Study Program, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Hasanuddin University, conducted a month-long field internship at PT Inti Tani Satwa. This activity was part of the implementation of the Poultry Production Practice course.

This internship aimed to provide students with hands-on experience in managing poultry production processes in an industrial environment, from chicken husbandry management, feeding systems, and livestock health management to harvesting and production recording.

During the internship, students received direct guidance from the barn managers at each production unit. Through this mentoring, students not only learned theory but also applied it directly in accordance with modern livestock industry operational standards.

This activity is expected to improve technical skills and managerial understanding, as well as develop professional and adaptable work character in the workplace. Furthermore, this internship also provided a platform for students to cultivate discipline and responsibility in their fieldwork.

PT Inti Tani Satwa fully supports this internship and hopes that the existing collaboration with the Faculty of Vocational Studies, Hasanuddin University, will continue to strengthen to produce superior and work-ready graduates in the poultry industry.
