UNHAS and Sidrap Regency Government Strengthen Vocational Education Collaboration Through Regional Partnership Admission Program

Sidrap – Hasanuddin University together with the Government of Sidenreng Rappang Regency (Sidrap) continues to strengthen collaboration in the development of vocational education through an official meeting focused on improving the quality of regional human resources.

The meeting became a strategic step in providing education that is closely aligned with community needs and regional potential, particularly in the livestock sector. One of the main outcomes discussed was the opening of the New Student Admission Program through Regional Partnership Scheme for the Livestock Production Technology Study Program, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Hasanuddin University.

Through this program, students will receive educational support in the form of 50% tuition assistance funded by the Sidrap Regional Government. In addition, all lectures and learning activities will be conducted specifically in Sidrap Regency, providing greater opportunities for local students to pursue higher education without having to leave their hometown.

The Livestock Production Technology Study Program of the Faculty of Vocational Studies offers a practice-based learning system designed to meet industry demands, preparing students to become skilled graduates who are ready to contribute directly to the development of the livestock sector in the region.

Representatives from Hasanuddin University stated that this collaboration reflects the university’s commitment to supporting regional development through applied and industry-oriented vocational education.
