Post-Accreditation Monitoring: An Ongoing Commitment to Improving the Quality of Education in the Applied Bachelor’s Degree Program in Dental Therapy
The Applied Bachelor’s Program in Dental Therapy at the Faculty of Vocational Studies, Hasanuddin University, conducted a Post-Accreditation Monitoring activity as part of its commitment to maintaining and continuously improving the quality of education. This activity was carried out through evaluation and monitoring meetings involving the program director, faculty members, support staff, and the quality assurance team.
Post-accreditation monitoring is a crucial phase following the receipt of accreditation results, aimed at ensuring that all recommendations and follow-up actions from the assessors are implemented optimally. During this activity, discussions were held regarding the achievement of quality indicators, the evaluation of supporting documents, the strengthening of program governance, and strategies for improving the quality of teaching, research, and community service.
Additionally, the team conducted a mapping of various aspects that still need development to ensure that educational quality standards are maintained and aligned with vocational higher education policies as well as the needs of the workforce and the healthcare sector.
Through this activity, it is hoped that a sustainable culture of quality will be established within the Applied Bachelor’s Program in Dental Therapy at the Faculty of Vocational Studies, Hasanuddin University, thereby producing graduates who are professional, competent, and competitive.
