PRIMA DENT CARE: HIMATERAGI UNHAS’ Real Action in Dental and Oral Health Education

HIMATERAGI UNHAS once again demonstrated its concern for community health through PRIMA DENT CARE, a dental and oral health education and examination program conducted over three weeks at Panti Asuhan At-Taqwa. This activity aimed to increase public knowledge and awareness about the importance of maintaining oral and dental health from an early age. During the program, participants received education on proper toothbrushing techniques, healthy lifestyle habits, and direct oral examinations conducted by Dental Therapy students.

Through this activity, HIMATERAGI UNHAS hopes that the community, especially the children at Panti Asuhan At-Taqwa, can better understand the importance of dental care as part of overall body health. The participants’ enthusiasm was reflected in their active involvement throughout the counseling sessions, ranging from question-and-answer discussions to dental examinations. The PRIMA DENT CARE program is expected to become a meaningful step in building healthy habits while strengthening the spirit of student community service toward society.
