Makassar, October 1, 2026 — The Applied Bachelor’s Program in Dental Therapy, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Hasanuddin University (Unhas), held a re-accreditation preparation meeting on Thursday, October 1, 2026. The meeting was attended by the Re-accreditation Task Force of the Applied Bachelor’s Program in Dental Therapy and chaired by Prof. Dr. Andi Nur Faidah Rahman, S.TP., M.Si.
The meeting reflects the study program’s commitment to preparing for the re-accreditation process in a planned and systematic manner while strengthening the culture of quality assurance in higher education, particularly in the field of dental health.
During the meeting, the Task Force coordinated and discussed various aspects of re-accreditation preparation. The meeting provided an opportunity to establish a shared understanding among team members, assess the readiness of supporting documents, and identify areas requiring further attention to ensure compliance with the applicable accreditation standards and assessment criteria.
Re-accreditation preparation is an important process that requires collaboration, attention to detail, and commitment from all team members. Various aspects of the educational program must be properly documented, including study program governance, teaching and learning processes, human resources, facilities and infrastructure, research, community service, and graduate outcomes and competencies.
Through this meeting, coordination among Task Force members is expected to become more effective, enabling each stage of the preparation process to be carried out efficiently and in accordance with established targets. The readiness of supporting documents and the alignment between program implementation and documented performance evidence are essential to supporting a comprehensive quality evaluation.
Re-accreditation is viewed not merely as an administrative requirement but also as an opportunity for evaluation and continuous improvement. This process is expected to encourage the Applied Bachelor’s Program in Dental Therapy, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Hasanuddin University, to continuously improve the quality of education, strengthen the relevance of its curriculum to healthcare service needs, and produce competent, professional, and ethical graduates.
