RESEARCH PARTNERS

Exploring the past requires multidisciplinary collaboration. The Archaeology Department at Unhas has established a strong network of partnerships with government bodies, the private sector and universities worldwide to enhance the quality of its methodologies and the scope of its research. Our strategic research partners include: the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) through the Sulawesi Archaeology Research Collaboration Centre (PKR). Cultural Heritage Preservation Centres (BPK) across Indonesia, in the protection of cultural heritage sites in the field. The Integrated Indonesian Archaeological Research Programme (PATI), a collaboration involving all Archaeology undergraduate programmes across Indonesia, with funding support from the Arsari Djojohadikusmo Foundation.
