DOCTORAL REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

DOCTORAL PROGRAM REGISTRATION (S3)

Requirements: 

  • Academic Qualifications: Prospective Doctoral program students must hold a Master’s degree (Magister) or equivalent from an accredited study program or from an accredited State University (PTN) or Private University (PTS) with a minimum Master’s (S2) GPA of 3.25.
  • Certificate of Graduation (SKL): A Certificate of Graduation (SKL) is permitted, provided that a copy of the Original Diploma is submitted to the New Student Admissions (PMB) Committee before the re-registration deadline. 
  • Track Selection: Ensure the chosen Admission Track is correct, as changing tracks is not permitted after the Acceptance Announcement Decree is issued.
  • Dropout History: Must never have been declared a Drop Out (DO) from Universitas Hasanuddin at the same educational level.
  • Unhas Staff: Specifically for Universitas Hasanuddin Teaching Staff, candidates must meet the requirements of the Rector's Circular Letter Number 21360/UN4.1/KP.06.00/2021. 

Specifically for the Thematic Research Group (TRG) Track:

Registration Schedule

  • Before paying the registration fee, please ensure you meet the requirements as there is no refund of the registration fee. The registration fee is Rp. 750,000.
  • Payment of registration fees through  the designated bank  starting from  November 28 to January 15, 2026 at 16.00 WITA 
  • Online form filling from  November 28 to January 15, 2026   at 23.59 WITA  on the page  https://regpmb.unhas.ac.id
  • File Verification from  November 29 to January 16, 2026 
  • Printing of Exam Cards  January 16-17, 2026
  • Network Connection Socialization   January 19, 2026 
  • Implementation of the Online Exam from  January 20 to 22, 2026
  • Exam Material: 
    • Academic Potential Test (TPA)
    • English Proficiency Test (EPT)
    • Interview
  • Announcement of exam results on  January 28, 2026  online via individual participant accounts.
  • Re-registration / Payment of Semester I tuition fees starts from  January 29 to February 6, 2026.
  • Letter of Acceptance (LoA)  can be downloaded via individual accounts in the  Download LoA  menu.

Registration Procedure:

  1. Make sure you meet the requirements before paying the registration fee, as there are no refunds on registration fees.
  2. Registration page  https://regpmb.unhas.ac.id  
  3. Select  Admission Path --> select Independent S3 / Independent S3 Regular Research Path / Independent S3 TRG Path
  4. Enter  Mobile Phone Number (HP)
  5. Enter  Name without title
  6. Click  Register/print registration invoice
  7. Click on  payment method (Mobile Banking, ATM, Teller)
  8. Pay the registration fee of Rp. 750,000 (seven hundred and fifty thousand rupiah) through the designated bank starting from  November 28 to January 15, 2026 at 16.00 WITA
  9. The cellphone number functions as an ID and the access code/PIN code functions as a password printed on proof of payment from the bank.

  15. On the Login Form Page: USERNAME enter the ID Number (Mobile Number used when paying) and PASSWORD enter the Access Code / PIN Code listed on the proof of payment.
  16. For participants who have paid and cannot log in with the access code from the bank, participants can contact the Helpdesk and send proof of payment to WA No.: 082194165656 or 085343991587.
  17. Select Education Level

  19. Fill in the biodata carefully
  20. Uploading files:
    • Latest color passport photo (red background, clothing without attributes/logos)
    • Bachelor's Diploma
    • Bachelor's Transcript
    • Master's Diploma
    • Master's Transcript
    • Accreditation of the Institution / Study Program of Origin (Master's level) can be screenshotted from the BAN PT website.
    • Draft of the dissertation research plan (maximum 10 pages, A4 size, Times New Roman, font 12, 1.5 spacing), consisting of an introduction, problem formulation, research method, and expected results;
    • A statement letter stating that you are not registered as a student in any study program and that you have not dropped out at Hasanuddin University. Download  the statement letter format.
    • Proof of registration payment.
  21. Printing of Examination Cards is carried out after verification of files by the New Student Admissions Committee and is declared to meet the requirements,  January 16-17, 2026 ;
  22. Print the exam card in color on A4 paper by clicking  the Validation Results/Print Card menu . 
  23. The printed color examination card will be shown to the examination supervisor before the examination begins (exam participant attendance) 
  24. Read carefully the information on the Examination Card regarding the day, date, time and examination material;
  25. For participants who have paid the registration fee but do not register online according to the schedule, the participant will be  disqualified  and the registration fee cannot be refunded.

 

TEST IMPLEMENTATION

The exam will be conducted online with the following provisions:

  • Participants print their exam cards according to the exam card printing schedule.
  • Participants must prepare a computer/laptop with a Microsoft Windows operating system (OS) to work on the questions.
  • Participant's mobile phone links with the Zoom application.
  • The position of the participant's cellphone camera is directed at the computer monitor and the participant  
  • Make sure you have good internet access at your respective locations.
  • Log in with your respective account on the page https://regpmb.unhas.ac.id/
  • Participants must be ready 1 hour before the exam starts.
  • The time used is Central Indonesian Time (WITA)
  • Monitoring/Attendance of Exam Participants via Zoom (must activate Audio and Phone Camera during the exam) 
  • Zoom ID and Password will be provided before the exam starts
  • A network connection simulation will be conducted one day before the exam and is mandatory for all participants.
  • The Exam Supervisor will contact participants to join the WA Exam Room Group before the network connection socialization is carried out, contact the helpdesk if participants have not been included in the WA Exam Room group.
