ICONMAA 2026 Strengthens International Collaboration in Mathematical Analysis and Its Applications
August 4, 2026
The 4th International Conference on Mathematical Analysis and Its Applications (ICONMAA 2026) was held on 23–24 July 2026 at the Science Building, Hasanuddin University, Makassar. This international conference served as an academic gathering for mathematicians, researchers, lecturers, and students to share research findings and discuss the latest developments in mathematical analysis and its various applications.
ICONMAA 2026 was organized through a collaboration between Hasanuddin University and the Indonesian Mathematical Analysis Community (KAMINDO). The event featured a number of prominent academics from Indonesia and various countries as keynote speakers, namely Prof. Samsul Ariffin Abdul Karim from Universiti Utara Malaysia, Dr. Manab Kundu from SRM University-AP India, Prof. Hendra Gunawan, Ph.D. from Bandung Institute of Technology, and Prof. Sanjeewa Perera from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. The conference also featured invited speakers from several universities in Indonesia, namely Prof. Dr. Suparna, M.Si. from Gadjah Mada University, Prof. Dr. Marjono, M.Phil. from Brawijaya University, and Denny Ivanal Hakim, M.Si., Ph.D. from Bandung Institute of Technology.
The conference covered a wide range of topics, including analytical aspects of mathematical physics, algebra and its applications, differential and integral equations, discrete analysis, dynamical systems, Fourier and harmonic analysis, fuzzy analysis, differential geometry, probability and stochastic analysis, real and complex analysis, topology, statistical quality control, biomathematics, optimization, control theory, and fluid mechanics.
ICONMAA 2026 served not only as a forum for presenting research findings but also as an opportunity for collaboration among researchers and institutions from various countries. Selected papers from this conference have the opportunity to be published in the Journal of the Indonesian Mathematical Society, the Hilbert Journal of Mathematical Analysis, and the Jurnal Matematika, Statistika dan Komputasi. With the successful organization of ICONMAA 2026, Hasanuddin University continues to strengthen its role as a center for the development of mathematical sciences and international academic networking in Indonesia.
