LP2MP Unhas Holds FGD for the Preparation of Joint Self Assessment Report Towards ASIIN International Accreditation

The Institute for Quality Assurance and Educational Development (LP2MP) of Hasanuddin University organized a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for the Preparation of the Joint Self Assessment Report (SAR) as part of the preparations for ASIIN international accreditation. The event was held on 22–24 August 2025 at Unhas Hotel and Convention.
This FGD served as a strategic forum to align perspectives, strengthen cross-unit collaboration, and formulate a comprehensive Self Assessment Report (SAR). The SAR document is an essential component in the international accreditation process, aimed at improving academic quality, governance, and ensuring compliance with global standards.
In this activity, the Department of Geophysics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, actively participated alongside other departments. The Department of Geophysics contributed by preparing reports related to curriculum, learning outcomes, as well as research and community service activities. This participation reflects the department’s commitment to supporting the achievement of international accreditation and strengthening its academic reputation at the global level.

Through this SAR preparation, LP2MP Unhas together with related faculties and departments demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the quality of education, research, and academic services. Achieving ASIIN international accreditation is expected to broaden global recognition, open opportunities for international collaboration, and enhance the competitiveness of Hasanuddin University graduates worldwide.
