The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Hasanuddin University Holds a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on RPS to Prepare Globally Competitive Alumni

Makassar, February 14–15, 2026 — The Master of Public Administration (MAP) Study Program, Department of Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Hasanuddin University held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the Alignment of Semester Learning Plans (RPS) on Saturday–Sunday, February 14–15, 2026, at the Swiss-Belinn Losari Hotel, Makassar. This activity was attended by 12 MAP lecturers along with the RPS Compilation Team formed by the Head of the Study Program as part of an effort to align the curriculum with the latest policies of the Directorate of Education, Hasanuddin University.
This FGD aims to ensure that each course's learning content aligns with the established Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL). Through the alignment of the RPS, the MAP Study Program strives to prepare graduates who are adaptable to developments in science and technology and able to address the increasingly complex needs of public governance at both the local and global levels.
This activity is also part of the commitment of the MAP Study Program of FISIP Unhas in achieving educational goals that include strengthening graduate competencies in the fields of public policy, public management, and internationally competitive public organizations; improving the quality of research that supports the development of science and technology; applying science in the provision of public services and problem solving through national and international partnerships; and managing study programs that are accountable, transparent, and participatory.
As a study program that has achieved international accreditation from FIBAA, the MAP Study Program continues to regularly update its curriculum to ensure the quality of learning meets global standards. The Head of the MAP Study Program, Prof. Dr. Gita Susanti, M.Si., emphasized that the evaluation and alignment of the RPS is a strategic step to maintain the curriculum's relevance to the dynamics of public administration science, technological developments, and global challenges.
Over the two days of the event, FGD participants engaged in intensive discussions on CPL mapping, developing outcome-based learning structures, strengthening innovative learning methods, and integrating global perspectives into course materials. This process is expected to produce a more integrated and adaptive RPS document, capable of improving the quality of the learning process within the MAP study program at FISIP Unhas.
Through this activity, the MAP Study Program of FISIP Unhas affirms its commitment to maintaining the quality of education, improving the quality of graduates, and strengthening academic contributions in the development of public policy and professional and sustainable governance.
