Evaluation of Lectures and Preparation of Strategic Roadmap for Archaeology Study Program

Tamalarea, September 12, 2025 - The Archaeology Study Program of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University held another internal meeting aimed at strengthening the direction of academic and institutional policies. Located in the Meeting Room of the Department of Archaeology FIB Unhas Tamalarea campus, this meeting discussed two main agendas: evaluation of the implementation of the current semester lectures and preparation of the roadmap for research and community service for the period 2026-2030.

  1. Lecture Evaluation: Reflection and Improvement
    Entering the fourth week of the semester, the Archaeology Undergraduate Study Program conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the implementation of lectures from the first to the fourth week. Aspects discussed include student participation, technical obstacles faced, as well as solutions and follow-up that need to be taken by each course instructor. This evaluation is an important part of maintaining the quality of learning and ensuring that the academic process runs according to established standards.
  2. Roadmap Development: Structuring Strategic Steps
    The second agenda of the meeting focused on the formation of the Archaeology Study Program's research and community service roadmap drafting team for 2026-2030. This team will be formed through a Dean's Decree and is tasked with preparing strategic documents that are in line with the Study Program's Annual Work Plan and Budget (RKAT). Preparation activities will be carried out through workshops and workshops, with the target of completing a measurable and integrated document.
  3. Strengthening the Academic Information System
    In addition to the two main agendas, the meeting also discussed several matters related to strengthening Prodi's information system, among others:
    -    Updating the official website of the Study Program
    -    Update of thesis and thesis database
    -    Optimization of reading room system and digital library development
    -    Increasing the role of Academic Advisors (PA)

The Head of the Archaeology Study Program emphasized that this activity is part of an ongoing commitment to build an adaptive, transparent, and impactful academic system. With the synergy between evaluation and planning, the Archaeology Study Program of FIB UNHAS continues to strengthen its position as an institution that excels in education, research, and service based on cultural heritage.
