FIB Unhas Holds Monev for Student Study Completion, Kaprodi S1 Archeology Synchronize Study Period Data

Makassar, October 9, 2025 - The Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University carried out Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of Student Completion of Studies for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels in the first semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. This activity took place in the Senate Meeting Room 2nd Floor FIB Unhas and was attended by Heads of Study Programs and education staff from all study programs in the faculty environment.

The activity was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Andi Muhammad Akhmar, S.S., M.Hum., who emphasized the importance of monev as a strategic instrument in improving academic quality and supporting the acceleration of student study completion.

The main session was filled by a presentation from the Head of the Education Administration Subdirectorate, Directorate of Education Unhas, Susy Asteria Irafany, S.T., M.Si. She explained the data on the study period of students in the scope of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences study program, including study completion trends, identification of students who have the potential to experience delays, and academic data synchronization strategies.  

The discussion then continued with cross-checking student data in each study program. On this occasion, Kaprodi S1 Archeology conveyed the latest data related to the study period of students in his department to be synchronized with Unhas academic data, so as to produce a more accurate and comprehensive picture.  

The activity was closed with an affirmation that monev is not just an administrative agenda, but an important step in improving the quality of higher education. Through structured and collaborative M&E, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences Unhas is committed to continuing to encourage timely and quality completion of student studies.
