Tracer Study: Concrete Support from Alumni for Improving the Quality of Archaeology Study Programmes
Makassar, 3 March 2026 — As part of a series of activities for the election of the Chair of the Hasanuddin University Archaeology Alumni Association (ILUNAR), the Head of the Archaeology Department of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Hasanuddin University emphasised the importance of conducting a Tracer Study as a form of tangible contribution by alumni in supporting the improvement of the quality of the Archaeology Study Programme.
This Tracer Study targets alumni who graduated in the last five years. Alumni are requested to complete an online questionnaire that has been prepared. The data from the Tracer Study will be an important part of the reaccreditation process for the Archaeology Undergraduate Programme, as well as forming the basis for curriculum evaluation and development to ensure it is more relevant to the needs of the world of work and society.
Through the active participation of alumni, the Department of Archaeology hopes to strengthen its network, improve the quality of its graduates, and ensure the continued academic and professional reputation of the Archaeology Programme at FIB Unhas.
