Al-Ashri Junior High School Visits the Biology Department of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Hasanuddin University, for Science Education Activities

The Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Hasanuddin University enthusiastically welcomed a visit from SMP Plus Al-Ashri Makassar. The event took place on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Biology Department Meeting Room, FMIPA Unhas.

This educational visit was an opportunity for Al-Ashri Plus Junior High School students to learn more about biology in a university setting. During the visit, the students were welcomed by lecturers and staff from the Biology Department, who introduced them to academic activities, laboratory facilities, and various fields of biology studied at Unhas.

The atmosphere of the activity was warm and interactive. The students were enthusiastic about listening to explanations and discussing various biological phenomena they encounter in their daily lives. This activity is expected to foster a spirit of learning and interest in science, especially in the field of Biology, among the younger generation from an early age.
