The Department of History, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University will hold a film exhibition titled “Accini-Cini: Watching Together, Remembering Together” on December 12, 2025, at the Mattulada Hall, Faculty of Cultural Sciences. This event serves as the final project of the Film and Historical Documentation Course, taught by Dr. Amrullah Amir, M.Hum. and Fajar Sidiq Limola, S.S., M.Hum., and is part of the implementation of K23 Project-Based Learning (PBL).

The exhibition will present a series of student-produced documentary films, reflecting their exploration of various themes in the social and cultural history of South Sulawesi. Several films also draw on the findings of undergraduate thesis research, adapted into visual and narrative forms, offering an alternative medium for documenting and conveying historical messages to the public.

Through this activity, historical learning goes beyond academic writing and is expressed through creative media that broaden perspectives on documentation and representation of the past. The documentary film serves as a reflective platform for students to combine historical methodology with communicative and participatory film production techniques.

In addition to film screenings, the event provides a space for appreciation among students and the academic community to watch together and remember together, echoing the spirit embodied in the title Accini-Cini. The exhibition is open to the public and aims to become a collaborative moment for advancing history learning through creativity and audio-visual innovation.
