Departemen Ilmu Sejarah Fakultas Ilmu Budaya Universitas Hasanuddinrecorded very good performance achievements in the implementation of the Tracer Study in 2025. These achievements align with the department's commitment to strengthen academic governance and continuous graduate monitoring. Tracer Study is positioned as an important instrument to map alumni career paths and curriculum relevance to workforce needs. Through structured management, the Department of History strives to ensure that the data produced is accurate and can be used as a basis for improving the quality of learning.

As part of capacity strengthening, the Department of History assigned Fajar Sidiq Limola, S.S., M.Hum., as the Person in Charge (PIC) for the department's Tracer Study to participate in the Tracer Study Improvement Workshop. This activity was held in the Innovate Room on the 2nd floor of Unhas Hotel and Convention on November 29, 2025. The workshop was initiated by the university to unify understanding and management strategies for the Tracer Study across all study programs. Through this forum, PICs received updated information, technical guidelines, and discussion space on best practices for Tracer Study implementation within Universitas Hasanuddin.

The participation of the Department of History in the workshop became a concrete manifestation of support for the university's efforts to improve the quality of institutional performance indicators. The presence of the department's PIC enabled more effective coordination between the program study level and the Tracer Study management unit at the university level. Furthermore, this activity encouraged inter-departmental synergy in sharing experiences, communication strategies with alumni, and the utilization of digital platforms for optimizing questionnaire completion. Thus, the workshop was not merely ceremonial but also served as a space for strengthening technical and managerial capacity.

In the implementation of the 2025 Tracer Study, monitored up to November 29, 2025, the Department of History successfully exceeded the response target set by the university. The university's set response rate target was 80 percent, which was surpassed by the Department of History with a response rate achievement of 92.86 percent. This figure indicates a very good level of alumni participation and reflects the effectiveness of the communication strategies built by the department. This achievement also affirms that the network between the department and alumni is well maintained and responsive to efforts to update graduate data.

In addition to the response rate achievement, the performance of the Department of History is also reflected in the Key Performance Indicator (IKU) related to graduate absorption and contribution. In 2025, the IKU value for the Department of History was at 33.93 percent. This percentage shows that the proportion of graduates meeting the IKU criteria continues to strengthen and has the potential to increase through follow-up academic and non-academic policies. The department hopes that the Tracer Study results and IKU achievements can become a foundation for curriculum evaluation, partnership development, and increasing the relevance of graduate competencies with the dynamics of societal and workforce needs.
