Synergy of History Department Lecturers on the International Stage: Report from the SEASREP 30th Anniversary Conference, Thammasat University, Thailand
On November 13–14, 2025, four lecturers from the Department of History, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University actively participated in the SEASREP 30th Anniversary Conference entitled "Southeast Asian Studies: Ideas, Audiences, Approaches, and Aspirations (SEAS-IA3)" held at the Institute of East Asian Studies, Thammasat University, Thailand. This involvement is part of efforts to expand networks and enhance academic capacity at the international level.
The 30th SEASREP Conference was attended by leading scholars and researchers from various Southeast Asian countries. This forum served as a strategic space for exchanging ideas, disseminating cutting-edge research findings, and discussing future aspirations in the field of Southeast Asian studies. The theme emphasized the importance of cross-disciplinary and cross-national collaboration to drive sustainable advancement of regional studies.

The lecturers representing the Department of History in this event were Dr. Muslimin A.R. Effendy, M.Hum., Dr. Ilham, S.S., M.Hum., Dr. Ida Liana Tanjung, M.Hum., and Drs. Dias Pradadimara, M.S.
The participation of these lecturers in this international event is expected to strengthen the global presence of the Department of History, foster the transfer of knowledge, and elevate the quality of research and teaching at Hasanuddin University. The department expresses its highest appreciation for the dedication and contributions of the lecturers in bringing the institution's good name to the international stage. It is hoped that the academic experience gained will have a positive impact, both institutionally and for the further development of scholarship.
