New Student Orientation Program

The Bachelor’s Program in Tourism, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University, organized the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) as part of its welcoming program and orientation to the academic environment. The event was conducted in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and togetherness, with active participation from the new students of the Tourism Study Program.

The event was also attended by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University, and the Head of the Bachelor’s Program in Tourism. Their presence played an important role in introducing the students to the academic environment, learning system, and various aspects of university life.

Through the PKKMB program, new students received an initial introduction to the Bachelor’s Program in Tourism, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, and the academic values that they are expected to develop throughout their studies at Hasanuddin University. The event also provided an opportunity to foster interaction and strengthen relationships among new students, faculty leaders, study program administrators, lecturers, and fellow students.

The PKKMB is expected to serve as an important first step for new students of the Bachelor’s Program in Tourism in beginning their university journey with enthusiasm for learning and with adaptive, collaborative, and responsible attitudes. The sense of togetherness fostered through this event is also expected to strengthen students’ sense of belonging to the study program, the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, and Hasanuddin University, while laying a strong foundation for their academic journey and the development of their competencies in the field of tourism.
