Workshop on Preparing for Verification and Validation of IKU Data for 2025

Makassar, March 20, 2025 – Hasanuddin University (Unhas) held a workshop on the preparation of verification and validation of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data for 2025 at the Unhas Hotel. All Heads of Study Programs and Persons in Charge (PIC) of Tracer Studies at Unhas attended the event, aiming to ensure the accuracy and validity of the KPI data, which serves as a reference for assessing university performance.

In his remarks, Unhas Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc. , emphasized the importance of involving all academic elements in managing KPI data. "The validity and accuracy of KPI data significantly determine Unhas' position in the national rankings. Therefore, synergy between study programs and the tracer study team is essential to ensure the quality of the data we report," said Prof. Jamaludin Jompa.

Unhas IKU Coordinator  Prof.  Dr.  Eng.  Amiruddin, S.Si., M.Si. , stated that this workshop provided participants with an in-depth understanding of the IKU data reporting mechanism, including the technical aspects of inputting and tracking alumni data through tracer studies. "With a more integrated system, we hope the data validation process will be more accurate and transparent, so that it can truly reflect Unhas' achievements," he said.

The workshop concluded with the development of action plans by each study program to ensure complete data before the reporting deadline to the ministry. With this workshop, Unhas hopes to further improve its academic performance and competitiveness at the national and international levels.
