Attitude 

Every graduate of the Regional Literature Study Program will possess the following attitudes:
1. Ability to internalize the values of local wisdom, nationalism, diversity, and maritime culture, becoming an independent and characterful individual with social sensitivity, perseverance, and entrepreneurial spirit; and
2. Ability to internalize values, norms, and academic ethics within the scientific community.

Knowledge

Graduates of the Regional Literature Study Program possess the following knowledge:
1. Ability to master theories and forms of linguistic, literary, and cultural expressions in solving problems related to the Bugis-Makassar language, literature, and culture; and
2. Ability to master theoretical concepts of language, literature, and culture based on digital technology to revitalize the Bugis-Makassar language, literature, and culture.

Skills

  • General Skills

Graduates of the Regional Literature Study Program possess the following general skills:
1. Ability to apply logical, critical, systematic, and innovative thinking in the development or application of science and technology, taking into account and applying humanities values relevant to their field;
2. Ability to assess the implications of the development or application of science and technology, considering and applying humanities values in accordance with their expertise and based on scientific principles, procedures, and ethics, in order to produce solutions, ideas, designs, or artistic critiques; and
3. Ability to make appropriate decisions in solving problems in their area of expertise, based on the analysis of information and data.

  • Special Skills

 Graduates of the Regional Literature Study Program possess the following specific skills:
1. Ability to read and transliterate texts written in Lontara or Serang script in the Bugis-Makassar language;
2. Ability to apply theories and methods of manuscript translation using digital technology for the preservation and development of the Bugis-Makassar language, literature, and culture; and
3. Ability to actualize concepts and values found in the local Bugis-Makassar language, literary, and cultural heritage within a global context.
