Guest Lecture: Renewable Energy Lecture Series

The Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Hasanuddin, in collaboration with The University of Sydney, the Indonesian Forum of Electrical Engineering Higher Education Institutions (FORTEI), and the Thematic Research Group (TRG) UNHAS, presents a Guest Lecture as part of the Renewable Energy Lecture Series, entitled “Design of Scalable Electrocatalysts for Global H₂ Production and Waste Upcycling.”

The lecture features Prof. Antonio Tricoli from the Faculty of Engineering, The University of Sydney, Australia, as the guest speaker, with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Faizal A. Samman serving as the Lecture Chair.

This session will explore innovative and scalable electrocatalyst materials for green hydrogen production, renewable energy conversion, and waste upcycling into value-added chemicals. The discussion will highlight emerging material technologies and manufacturing strategies that support sustainable energy systems, resource efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
