IEEE Distinguished Lecture: Transportation Electrification & Renewable Energy Lecture Series

The Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Hasanuddin, in collaboration with ETH Zurich, IEEE, IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS), and FORTEI, proudly presents an IEEE Distinguished Lecture as part of the Transportation Electrification & Renewable Energy Lecture Series.

This lecture features Prof. Ivana Kovacevic-Badstuebner, a Senior Member of IEEE and researcher at the Advanced Power Semiconductor Laboratory, ETH Zurich, Switzerland, who will present a lecture entitled:

“Design of SiC Power MOSFET Packages based on Multi-physics Models.”

The session will explore advanced modeling techniques for silicon carbide (SiC) power MOSFET packaging, focusing on electrical, thermal, and mechanical performance. The discussion will highlight the role of SiC power semiconductor technology in electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, charging infrastructure, and other high-power applications, as well as the importance of reliable package design for next-generation power electronics.
